This is a MISSION CRITICAL facility for Amazon as they continue to increase their “Last Mile” footprint:
In 2024, Amazon reported a 65% increase in number of orders for delivery on the same day or next day which is why they continue to expand their “Last Mile” footprint. Amazon claims it plans to “double” the size of its fulfillment network where it can be closer to the end customer. This site in Billings, MT fits their local MT customer base extremely well.
This facility serves over 192,000 Billings residents, with an average household income over $106,000.
This is the only Amazon facility within 147 miles (next closest is located in Bozeman).
